BookScribe 2000 Scanner

Copying bound materials on an ordinary copier is slow, clumsy, and tough on your originals. The solution is the BookScribe 2000: the digital face-up book copier that eliminates the need to turn volumes over in a facedown position. Operation is simpler. Output is faster -- up to 20 pages per minute. Fragile bindings are protected. And copies are clear, legible, and free from curvature distortion. A single scan lets you make a separate print of either left or right page, copy a 2-page spread on a single 11" x 17" page, or copy both left and right pages individually from one scan. The BookScribe 2000 also gives you digital advantages over analog systems -- because one scan lets you produce multiple copies, saving time and increasing reliability. Its modular design allows the scanner and printer to be positioned separately. There's even a compact optional workstation that fits scanner above, printer below.

PS3000 Scanner

Most scanners require books to be turned face down -- but the Minolta PS3000 is radically different. It scans bound volumes in face-up position, so handling is minimized and bindings are protected. An adjustable cradle provides gentle, stress-free support to the spine of your volumes. Even rare, fragile, and deteriorating books can be scanned easily without damage to the pages or spine. With an 11" x 17" scanning area, you can scan two-page spreads together so charts, maps, graphics, and artwork are reproduced intact. The PS3000 also compensates for page curvature and eliminates centerline shadows. Automatic edge detection masks out borders and the area beyond the page for clean, professional-looking results.
PS7000 Scanner

The Minolta PS7000 is a superior system for scanning large-sized books, artwork, ledgers, and other bound materials. Its face-up scanning system means you don't have to turn volumes over in face-down position, so your materials require less handling and fragile bindings are protected. With a scanning area of 17" x 23-2/8", the PS7000 lets you scan even oversized bound volumes with ease. You'll get fast scanning, at only 4-1/2 seconds per page for 8-1/2" x 11" originals -- and clean, crisp images with up to 600-dpi resolution. The PS7000 automatically compensates for curvature of pages and eliminates centerline shadows and outside borders. And you can output your scanned image direct to printer or PC, with a single button switching your output from direct-print to PC-connect mode.

MS6000 Scanner

Read on screen, print on paper, scan to PC—the digital era gives you powerful new ways to use microform information. Now there's a microform scanner that makes it easy to do all three. The Minolta MS6000 gives you dual output, to switch from PC scanning to high-speed laser printing at the touch of a button. Connected to a PC, the MS6000 allows scanning at up to 800 dpi—to use and distribute your microform information in websites, emails, faxes and desktop publishing. There's a wide range of microform media options for film, fiche, jacket and card formats. Modular scanner and printer design lets you set up your system to suit your workspace—and two scanners can even share a single printer, for extra cost-efficiency in multi-user applications.

MS7000 Scanner

For reading, scanning, and printing to PC, Minolta offers a powerful widescreen solution that makes it easier to do all three—the Minolta MS7000. The MS7000 has a big 12" x 17" screen for reviewing more information in less time at a higher magnification. With standard dual output, you can switch from PC scanning to laser printing at the touch of a button. And high resolution PC scanning at up to 800 dpi lets you use and distribute microform information in web sites, emails, faxes, and desktop publishing. Financial applications will appreciate the check stacking feature of the MS7000 that lets you automatically combine front and back of checks on a single print. There's a wide range of microform media options for film, fiche, jacket and card formats. And modular scanner and printer design lets you set up your system to suit your workspace.
